My mother died at 40 never got offered a liver. She had been sober for three years. She was never offered a transplant and she just died. You’re very lucky.

I work at a hospital, and patients with liver failure suffer greatly. The disease is quite severe, and I feel very sorry for them.

I am incredibly lucky. I quit drinking but I drank for 20 years straight and my liver didn't get damaged. I drank every day. Maybe cause I drank light beer? I don't know but I'm sorry you're going through this
