I'm lucky to have a "normal" son. At never ko talagang maiintindihan ang sakit na nararamdaman ng mga parents ng mga special needs children. Kaya everytime, makakita ako ng bata na may down syndrome, lagi kong sinasabi sa 3yr old ko. Look oh, pogi baby oh! Pag may nakakasama kaming bata na may autism sa mga playground, lagi kong ineencourage na makipaglaro siya at always be gentle and slow. And I'm proud to say, lagi kong pinagyayabang sa mga ibang parents, tuwing may bagong enroll na autistic kid sa playschool ng anak ko. Laging sinasabay ng mga teachers yung sched nila sa sched ng baby ko. Kasi my son knows how to be gentle, soft and slow with them, kaya confident ang mga teachers sa anak ko. They are happy to be with my son. Yan ang isa sa biggest achievement ko sa upbringing sa anak ko and syempre, counting pa ko.

God is saying that your son is one of a kind and a child of God. and God will surely cover him and protect him. praying for your family may you trust his plans always. your family is special more than you know!

It’s and I feel you po. My son was diagnosed with autism, na depressed po ako pero mu husband was very supportive. My son is now grade 1 in regular school. Pa therapy niyo po, tapos iapply nio sa bahay ang natutunan ia sa therapy. Be firm huwag nio po spoiled. I am very proud of my son now huti nalang d kame nag give up mag asawa. God bless po!

You have the strongest dada, mommy!🥹🫶🏻 How I wish na sana I also had someone to share the pain, and the nights where I cry my heart out when I finally had the heart na ipacheck sa devped yung baby ko, to find out he has ASD Level 2. I was so disappointed in myself, may nagawa ba akong mali while I was pregnant? Ofc I've been through the indenial stage, and tbh I blame myself for late intervention, cuz I've been denial for almost a year.
