1. I live in France and I have 2h lunch break 2. I work from home most of the time. It's possible but you gotta be in an environment that prioritizes your health and wellbeing.

Idk i also feel like its an American thing to cook 3 meals a day, in my country we only eat a whole meal for dinner. For breakfast or lunch we eat a slice of bread with cheese or chocolate sprinkles, or yoghurt for example

my man has 2 jobs so I make the meals and yeah, i completely agree, we had numerous talks about this in the past where he said that if he was single he would almost never cook, he would just go grab takeout everyday bc its literally cheaper. cooking for 1 hour a day is not financially advantegeous for him. plus, he simply doesnt have the physical or mental energy for that. i take care of all house chores except for dishes. we have a dishwasher so his one chore is putting the dishes in the dishwasher and wash 1-2 pans daily, if any. i normally take about half an hour to make breakfast, 1-2 hours to make lunch and 1-2 hours for dinner. i always make very good meals, always with fresh veggies, its normally a big meal with a salad on the side. so all the prepping veggies, cutting, cooking, takes about that amount of time. ita basically a full time job. plus, i always chop up veggies for our doggy too, so i cook twice a day for him aswell. and in between that time i do other chores, cleaning, walking our doggy, grocery shopping, take on the mental load of our schedule, any meds or vitamins that need to be taken daily. cooking takes most of the time from my day tho. i wake up, do all this and it seems like i didnt have any time for anything else.
