this was my druid when the mercenaries that were an important role in her background actually turned out to be a world wide issue. I gave my DM the background of why she's hunting them thinking it was just a roving band slowly recruiting new members but instead it's an actual big time organization with hidden syndicates everywhere. did not expect him to turn it into that 😅

fought my general, got googly eye fm fight, break out of military jail. present day trys trading my eggs instead of paying for things at EVERY STALL, several people baby trapped me i ran. started STEALING other (draganoid) people's eggs to start my own child army to fight my other children if they ever come for vengeance. made bad deal with witch she promises to make my left behind eggs a top tear killer 4 vengeance. I played cute little happy go lucky sunshine guy party talked with some npc and topic was specific enough for him to raise his paw(feet) with missing finger and say something like "I'm so bad wit spears. I cut off my finger bc I was holding it wrong way down" with smile on his face like he was talking about nice weather somehow was enough to party edgy, traumatised guy to make face like 0_0

I played a super happy character in a party with dark backstories in a messed up setting but her backstory was actually a sheltered upbringing about how she wasn’t allowed to grow as a person. Overall nothing compared to their dark stories but they all thought hers was the most messed up in an ironic way and very relatable.
