I'm a tourist guide for more than 20yrs...Trust me when I report from the ground, majority of tourist don't care about global brands or brands per se. They love our authentic nature, islands, food and most importantly Malaysian Hospitality. So don't become a global brand, become original and authentic and keep it real. Also, I'd think the Malaysian Gov would support a local Malaysian brand and grow together. Follow the money, you'll know who's profiteering from this. Aniwaez, Majulah Tourism untuk Negara! 😁✌

You need global brands… AirAsia is basically only global in Asia, but not outside Asia… as for Malaysia Airlines, the plane that was lost and not found.. hardly a good promo material. Seriously, to select Malaysia global brand… how many you can pick from?
