i hope my adult kids get a life, travel, enjoy, experience life fully and not worry about spending time with me and if I am lonely or not. I raised them to be independent and enjoy life.

We have a multi-family home. My mom, my husband, my two adult sons. People think I’m crazy but I have no regrets. They can leave if they want but so far it’s looking like it might be awhile. I consider myself blessed. 🥰

it would be equally depressing if my kids never left, unemployed, unmarried, dependent on me in their adult years. I would rather see them progress and me creating new chapters in my life which fill my cup!

I always thought I was gonna be on my sixties before I would lose a parent , my dad passed when I was 39 . I’ve been aware of Death & time ever since. 😔 there is not enough time in this life .

Not mine,my kids are still at home with me because of cost of living they are 19 and 24 and I love having them around even though they another me at times, which is normal. they are generally homebodies and love being around me and hubby.
