TRADER JOE'S FAVORITE THINGS, FALL EDITION! 🍁🎃 I love TJ's this time of year, there are so many fun things. Here's what I got-obviously some of these items are more nutritious than others, but I believe in balance and no deprivation, and that is what works for me 😊 1. Pumpkin spice and snickerdoodle cookie mix-sooo good! But my recipe on the blog is better! 2. Fall zucchetto pasta-such a fun fall shape! 3. Harvest pasta sauce-this is a winner! 4. Fall leaf corn tortilla chips—a MUST! 5. Chocolate mousse pumpkins-haven't tried them yet! 6. GF pumpkin streusel muffins-big and bakery style, so good! 7. Canned pumpkin-its pumpkin and only $2.49/each. Stock up! 8. Organic maple butter-this is SO GOOD, add to toast or on top of oatmeal! 9. Pumpkin spice barebells-bought and regret it, they suck! 10. Seasonal spices-so inexpensive here! 11. GF pumpkin pancake mix—my kids love this! 12. Vanilla extracts and vanilla bean-inexpensive here, stock up for holiday baking! 13. Butternut squash and caramelized onion tart-this was really good; bake and serve! 14. La Colombe pumpkin spice cold brew-looked yummy, haven't tried. 15. All the pumpkin pastas and ravioli 16. Pumpkin pie @Perfect Bar -a seasonal fav! 17. Pizza seasoned crackers-my first time seeing these, they are YUMMY! 18. MAPLE GLAZED BAKED PUMPKIN DONUTS 🍩🎃 it’s the season for more baking and this was the last video recipe I shot in my old home, which makes it a bit nostalgic! You need to make these! The glaze is optional, but not :) Makes 9 donuts 1 ½ cups almond flour 2 tb coconut flour ½ cup sugar or coconut sugar 1 ½ tsp baking powder 2 tb pumpkin pie spice ¼ tsp sea salt 2 eggs ¼ cup pumpkin puree ¼ cup almond milk 1 tb avocado oil 1 tsp apple cider vinegar Maple glaze 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tb maple syrup 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice [might need a touch of water] Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a donut tray well. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. In another bowl, add all of the wet ingredients and whisk together until completely smooth. Pour the wet mixture into the dry, mixing until there are no clumps. Divide the batter between each donut cavity, filling 3/4 of the way. Bake for 25 minutes, remove from the oven. But cool completely. Meanwhile, make them maple glaze. Add all of the ingredients to a medium bowl and whisk until completely smooth and there are no clumps. The glaze should be very thick. It is thick, just add a teaspoon of water Pop the donuts out of the tray and dip each one in the glaze. Enjoy!
