Turn on the TV to an old western, a little louder than normal. Sit back and watch it with your dog or cats, it works for us.

I'm hindu, I have dogs and so do my parents. we don't do big bangs specifically because dogs are also revered in Hinduism. we do dose the babies for surrounding noises but thanks so much for this advise. my doxies HATE fireworks. thank you 🥰

Diwali is a celebration of light over darkness, the loud bangs have nothing to do with that🙏 there are fines for big bangs and restricted times in my area for fireworks, both for diwali and new years eve, every area should be the same.
