i usually just throw all my bedding and couch blankets or anything with dog hair on the air dry cycle before i throw it in the washer to help with the hair

Put it in the dryer with the dryer sheets. Spray a little bit of fabric softener in there!

I find that throwing them in the dryer first really helps and the Bounce Pet Hair and Lint Guard dyer sheets are AWESOME
