A film bro would understand that he overused extreme closeup shots to the point they lost all effect much like the whole film itself. Other than a strong current topic the film is pretty mid. The antagonist being set up as a goofball took any fear away from him. Also the lack of tension building, Leo gets arrested, interesting, escapes easily with no problems. Leo about to get pulled over, interesting 😀, jumps out of car, police don’t see him, problem solved easily & quickly

I’m a huge PTA fan and honestly this movie isn’t that good. It’s beautifully shot and the acting is fantastic especially Chase Infiniti but it’s getting these rave reviews because of its political ideology. If it didn’t align with this leftist sensibility there wouldn’t be all these accolades for a truly sub par film from one of the best talents of this generation. Eddington was a much better film but critics hated it because it makes fun of liberals and liberals hate looking in the mirror.
