@heatherdaymusic: I’m really not trying to cross over into heartless witch territory but maybe I’m just really trying to scare certain types away. It’s pretty simple. I’m tired of people trying to manage my emotions, and control the outcome of my autonomous decisions, by feeding me a line of bullshit. I’m a grown-up. Tell me the truth. If I don’t like it I can leave. That’s because I’m free to do so. If you lie to me then you must think I’m a slave, not free to leave, and it’s easier to trick me. In that case you are no longer welcome in my life. The patriarchy may have taught you differently but hopefully you understand this concept and if you understand this concept then congratulations! You’ve overcome thousands of years of oppression of women. I’m really sick of the excuse that people lie to others because they think the other person is controlling. No, the liar is the controlling one. Let’s get that straight right now. And they’re obviously afraid. They’re afraid that the other person will leave, or get angry or whatever. One way to make me angry real quick is to lie to me. But I respect your personal autonomy. If you don’t respect mine then goodbye! I don’t understand what’s so difficult to understand about this. Oh well, I’ll just be alone until I can find someone that understands that lying to me is a dealbreaker. OK bye.
