As someone who grew up in Russia and understands Russian propaganda really well I was SHOCKED when I saw how easily people in the US were falling under its influence… like even the fact that people don’t speak about Ukraine nor support it speaks volumes to me

The thing is most leftists don’t hold “anti-imperialism” as a genuine virtue. They believe imperialism is an action that can only be committed by the west, and that any action against the western power bloc is justified due to this.

Yep, I have talked on here before about Russian colonialism and whenever that topic is mentioned there are thousands of Europeans who start saying “well Russian imperialism is not as bad as western imperialism!!!” As if any amount of imperialism is okay and as if Russia is some sort of de-colonial non-western hero

Tbh, their bots do most of the work in comments. After war in Ukraine started, as a person living in a country nearby, I saw literally copy pasted comments on every single video from bots in such massive quantities
