@beachykefer: You can feel happiness again, you can fall in love again - with life, with yourself, with other people if you want! This is a part of your story, but it’s not your whole story! The first clip it felt like my life was ending, but really that story was just ending and I was about to start a totally different one - written consciously on my terms! Since I found out I got cheated on I: got divorced, been on countless adventures with my friends, lived in a mommune, got featured in the New York Times and on Good Morning America, found new hobbies, started therapy, started a podcast, started grad school, met new people, made new friends, got closer to my best friends, outgrew some people, outgrew old versions of myself, healed my inner child, did the inner work and grew more than I ever imagined possible. It doesn’t hurt like it use to, most days it doesn’t even hurt at all. I have fallen in love with life and with the woman that I am. On day 1 I never imagined I’d be here and feel so much peace about it all. It takes time. Healing is not linear. Be patient with yourself & others.
