Mine isn’t aggressive but I tell them if they feel comfortable putting a muzzle on they can. He’s never bit anyone but I know he can look intimidating when he barks

my husky is a very nervous dog and has never bitten anyone. im also currently going to school to become a vet tech. if they allow me I would like to help them examine my dog because she knows me better and if they really wanted id let them muzzle her because I know how it looks when they get a nervous dog

I always muzzle my dog at the vet. She loves the staff and always is very excited to go to the vet but as soon as she has to get something done she gets really anxious and is trying everything to get out of the situation when she is done she goes back to loving the staff

i didn’t know if my opinion was controversial or not, my rescue had never bit anything or anyone but i lowk want the vet to mussle her for her shots just in case u know since she’s unfamiliar with shots

I have a full blood gsd and he does a lot of barking so I muzzle him everytime we go! You just never know how nervous they are

Mine isn’t aggressive, but we went to an emergency vet this last weekend cause he got injured and I’ve never seen him in so much pain. Plus he didn’t know the vet so for everyone’s safety he was muzzled. It’s the exact reason I trained all my dogs on them.

Idk but my dogs trainer (Gsd) says muzzling a non-aggressive dog can make them become aggressive 🤷🏽♀️

2 of my dogs are muzzled in the car before we even come in. Never had an issue and never want to. My other two goofballs ham it up 😂

I love you for this because when I muzzled my dog going into the vet due to his history of aggression issues they acted like I was abusing him for trying to keep everyone safe😭and then I had to beg them to start him on meds for the aggression because i guess they thought I was making it all up?😭

For my spicy fearful cat I always pre medicate before her visit and schedule on my day off at the vet in case she needs to be sedated . Vet csr here 🤍

I always tell mine she’s never bit but she’s anxious when away from me. They bring me the muzzle and let me go ahead muzzle her for them. One vets office didn’t listen to me and almost got bit.

I have an Irish wolfhound who has just never liked people. When we started travelling full time he became reactive. We got a dog trainer, trained him in a basket muzzle and bought a house and changed our lifestyle immediately 🤷♀

my dog is always muzzled and wearing tools at the vet and one of them told me that’s not a good thing for him and he should be medicated instead 💀 safe to say we never saw her again

don't care if they come in muzzle they need to be able to be picked up and do a initial check in sensory check without biting. not worth the anxiety. if pp want them serviced at the groomers its the least they can do to make them be prepared for the grooming service.

my dog isn't aggressive but is terrified of the vet after a bad experience. muzzle trained her immediately and she wears a muzzle at the vet. she's a sweet, lovely dog, and I care about her comfort and never getting to that point but also value the safety of the vet and vet tech

Mine is reactive so the vets schedule our appointments around times other dogs won’t be around. 😚 I love them for that!! We are muzzle training too!

Mines very reactive so I always muzzle and call to make sure they have an open room to isolate him. His vet adores him and I wanna keep her! 😂

My pit bull mix can be weird with other dogs, so he’s always muzzled when meeting a new dog for the first time, it honestly calms his anxiety and ours.

I bring my dog in muzzled always. She’s unpredictable especially with unknown men. Last time they removed her muzzle and she bit someone and they wanted to charge me a bite fee! Luckily my veterinarian intervened because she’s been my vet for over 20 years.
