Toast the Orzo & Garlic In the same skillet, add 1–2 Tbsp butter or oil if needed. Stir in the orzo and garlic, and toast for 1–2 minutes, stirring constantly, until fragrant and lightly golden. 3. Simmer with Stock Pour in chicken stock and bring to a gentle boil. Nestle the seared chicken back into the pan with the orzo. Reduce heat to simmer, cover, and cook 15–20 minutes, or until orzo absorbs most liquid and chicken is cooked through. If needed, add a splash more stock to prevent sticking. 4. Finish with Flavor Stir in lemon juice and remaining butter to create a glossy sauce. Season to taste with extra salt, pepper, or lemon juice. 5. Serve Garnish with fresh parsley and a generous sprinkle of Parmesan, if using. Serve immediately while hot.
