as a white girl i would love to actually talk about this!! i try to love everyone equally, but sometimes i dont know where the line between appreciation and appropriation is. and i feel like a lot of black girl specifically (moreso than other minorities) really have a wall up to white girls and being their friend and understanding eachother. it makes me sad, but i understand because id never be able to know what it feels like to be treated differently for my skin color. but i just want peace and love and friendship and appreciation of culture, because my "culture" is boring as shit for the most part and yours is awesome. i hope white people learn it isnt always about them, but even i struggle with it when i feel like black people not just assume i am racist, but dont really give me a chance to prove myself otherwise. thanks for listening and have a lovely day!!! (ps i know the trend is weird as shit, it just brought up some interresting points for me )
