I went and found the podcast ep (so annoying not to post all parts). Sally runs out of the house w the dogs & waits in her car. Police show up and clear the house. No signs of any forced entry, no unlocked windows or doors. No intruder was ever found. The robinsons come home & Sally never dog sat again, but the person from the video has never been explained

so pretty simple explanation: none of Sally's friends could come, so she decides why not try one of her "guy friends". homeowner catches a glimpse of him and Sally doesn't want them to know what she's getting up to (even looks like he might be in the bedroom), so she lies about not getting anyone to come. homeowner panics and tells her to leave, and Sally wanting to sell her lie tells guy to leave, then calls the cops. she knows they won't find anything, so it won't be that big of deal... or maybe it was a ghost 🤷
