and here we are 9 months later weightloss is hard, but maintaining it is usually harder I’ve been in the gym for 8 years, but actually maintaining the results I was getting was always what I struggled with. I would go to extremes to get the results I wanted, get burnt out and end up right back where I was from the start. This year was different. I found ways to incorporate fitness into my life, with out it completely overtaking it. Allowing myself grace when things went off plan and practicing balance, even if it meant I wasn’t seeing progress as quickly as I wanted to. The difference is, the plan I created for myself this time was SUSTAINABLE. Fitness isn’t a race, it isn’t a quick fix, it’s a lifestyle that you actually have to enjoy in order to be able to stick to it. This is a principle I teach all of my clients.
