You’re reading it exactly how it should be. I have been doing the same (I read manacled) and it gives me time to evaluate and think about each chapter. It’s a story not meant to be devoured but studied because of how beautifully written it is. It’s better to take your time and enjoy it than throw yourself down a hole of sadness all at once 🫶🏻

I started Sep 29th. Finished yesterday. I am able to read approx 80-100k in a day (this is approx 310k), and yet SAME girl, same 😭. I would read the smallest amounts then peocess it.

It took me 3 weeks, you’re doing it right. When I read manacled years ago I had nightmares for a month. But trust me, you will fall in love at the end. Its worth it

I finished it today, I read it in a week BUT it wasn't a "can't put it down" for me, I just didn't. This is a perfect slow read IMO, take your time. Part 1 is so.....😳
