Ok in defense as a cashier the machine does it all in a split second after you enter what they gave you and to count it differently could fuck up the drawer and it takes time frome helping other people

As a former front end manager at a Hanny’s, I can tell you this is incredibly common. I have had people keep a calculator at their register because they couldn’t make change without it.
