Actually there was something important left out for the English translation. In Chinese Leviathan says: "Why did EVEN you betray us" (emphasizing on the even). Which means he's not the only one who betrayed them and considering how close Abby is to Rover maybe just maybe Rover is the other one that betrayed the threnodians

I have a theory that Abby(Abraxas) might be a threnodian too or just close to that, based on what the Leviathan said. It kinda emphasized that Abby knows who he is, shocked of what it called him as (I know he already said that name around 1.+, but it still surprised him). Abby(Abaxas) betraying Rover is unlikely, but never zero. But because we still don't know who Rover truly is or what is their past, we can't conclude yet. However, there's a possibility that Rover might be connected to the Threnodian in the past too. If y'all remember, SK stated that Abby has been inside Rover for like hundreds of years and was said like the half of their essence. I've made a bit speculation that Rover really used to be linked with the threnodian and the sentinels, which kinda explains Abby(Abaxas) having a heterochromatic eyes, I just think that it represents a dual twisted nature, one for the threnodian and the other is the sentinels. Now if we combined SK statement and how the Leviathan addressed Abby as Abraxas, I can mostly say that Rover might have some connection with the threnodian, whether Abby is just partially one, or pure.
