No because the supernatural need for an invite overrules a warrant. Sure he got the judge to sign a warrant but he needs YOUR permission to come into the premises. Supernatural precedes everything

No because the warrant is signed by a judge and not the owner of the house.

I've had this convo with both a cop, who had this convo with a lawyer. what I remember was a yes, technically if you ask "do you have a warrant?" and then step aside/motion in/open the door because they produced a warrant. so like you still invited them, but you did so due to the warrant. but then we couldn't remember if that was to coerced for a vampire or if they cared about that part or not lol.

If you tell him “get a warrant”, yes. But to just show up with it? Absolutely not.

maybe that's another reason why Bishop in Being Human became a police officer. although I would agree too with it being instinctively overruled bc it is not the owners permission being given but then you run into the police officer not being able to do his job lol.

To the ones saying no, bc it's not the homeowner giving permission ... not all vampire lore says that it has to come directly from the homeowner.

im America, yes, the technical owner of the land is the law, and you pay them taxes for permission to build and maintain that land, so the vampire would not need your personal permission, but permission of the land owner. I think this was covered in an old vampire tale about a person who rented a house, but I cant remember the story.

No. A warrant is not an invitation. The real question is if a vampire can physically heal themselves from any damage can they also heal any mental illness they may have had in life

No. He still needs permission. Judges do not override supernatural rules, I don’t make the rules. 🤷🏻♀️😂

Genuine answer (also, first thought, best thought): I don’t think so and my logic is that I don’t think that having a warrant overrides the internal stopping motion of the vampire. Therefore; no honest vampire would ever willingly choose to be a cop.
