My husband and I talked about it. He supported whatever I wanted to do. Including both getting the last name skywalker (no). I came from a difficult family situation and he felt like my family truly so I changed. I think you do whatever you want. Most important you have a spouse that’s supportive of either. Also. I earned my Dr. with maiden and changed to married. Do whatever the hell you want and let no one make you feel bad about it.
