I have been on compound or name-brand (didn’t have coverage, then did, no maybe not again?). Anyway I have been on for 20 months with one or the other and have never noticed a difference. Just make sure you choose a reputable telehealth with a reputable compound pharmacy. GLP Winner website has customer reviews and information on pricing. Good luck!

Happening to me now. Same type of scenario. I’m going to be forced to by direct from Eli Lilly bc it’s important for insurance to see you need it and have stayed on brand as I expect they’ll be covered again in the future. But I’m always formulating a letter my husband will send in to his employer. It’s all going to be in record.

This happened at my place of employment last year. First I went to compounded but then I switched to grey market. I did a lot of research and found a reputable one and love it!

I’m also using a compound. Does your husband have a Health Equity program at his job? Pre tax payroll deduction for uncovered health expenses. I use those dollars to pay for my compound.
