There is nothing called onion dolma ! there is only a iraqi Dolma and the iraqi dolma contains onion with it and other stuff

Dolma is a Kurdish dish. It dates back to around 7,000 years ago. The authentic Dolma is usually made with, Leaf, Green Bell peppers or Cabbage. You can also serve a side of Pomegranate molasses as a dip sauce.

As a former teacher, I had a student that had just immigrated from Iraq. One day his mom brought me a huge dish of onion dolma -just for me! and 17 years later I still dream about how phenomenal it was; still one of the best foods I’ve ever eaten in my life.

We cook something similar in Mexico. Is call stuffed onions 😁. The difference is that after we stuffed the onions with cooked ground beef, we close and dip it in a batter of egg whites and deep fried them. Make a tomato sauce pour on top and serve with white rice . Delicious
