It doesn’t matter, ruin my fun and you can play in any other pod than mine, or you can sit out and wait on someone that’s a better match. My pod takes time to make sure we all have a close chance to win.

if this is by any chance referring to the small discussion we had I'll just say what I already have, my issue with board wiping in casual is wiping with no plan to win. I would rather play 2 or 3 games than 1 reeeeeaallly long game. in my opinion if you are already playing low level games then you are playing with quantity of games in mind not quality. a control player is completely welcome at casual so long as their entire game plan is not " i wipe the board every 2 or 3 turns and pray yall deck out before I do" thats not fun, thats holding people hostage til they quit out of frustration or lose by mill and in my experience you rarely get people to agree to a game 2 after that. control decks that lock you out of attacking or limit spells can be a challenge to try to solve and so long as role 0 is followed then shouldn't result in people getting too salty as they knew what they were into for

I don’t think iv played control decks but I played my ur- dragon one time in a tourney and comboed into a omniscience and dracogenesis and won and I said good game yall they repeated with “we didn’t get to play the game” lol 😂

Would help if they'd include some form of win con instead of their deck being all counter spells and board wipes. Something like a Darksteel Reactor or one of the many blue win con cards. I can deal with control/stall, but control of nothing but counter/wipes is a problem build.

you ask the table and find one you vibe with, i run cascade and deck stacking control isn't really gonna bother me because my creatures hitting the board are usually to fish for wincons being cast at instant speed or for engine peices meant to be used the same turn it generally doesn't care about a sorcery speed board wipe or the 2 counterspells you have in hand for my 10 card cascade chain (cascade is a cast trigger which happens even if you counter the spell)

I’m new I only have precons atm because I can’t build a viable deck just yet buddies play control,mill,stax, and I’ve won I enjoyed those games more than the ones where they played new player friendly decks

Control is just as viable as a strategy as any other. Sure it isn't fun for other players but the objective is to win the game. People should run more interaction and learn not to go all out on a spell. Unless that play is playing oops all counterspells you should be fine

I only know how to build bracket 4-5 decks 😅 however I consider stax to be control and I hate stax but I have three different stax deck one bracket 3 other bracket 4… I mean if you stax them out and tell them “NO” it’s still control right? 🤔🤔🤔 but my pod also only wants me to play control decks so they can get better at baiting as well as just becoming a better player 😅

honestly if there's a deck style I don't like playing against then I just don't play against those decks lol. it's easy to say "that's not my pace" and move to the next table
