ik you didn’t ask but you mentioned liking cleanliness. stay FAR away from puppy pads. buy some to soak up accidents after they happen ! but don’t let her think she can have a place to go in the house because it will take forever to break that habit and start crate training as soon as possible. i just got a malinios puppy trust girl!!

she needs a harness. smaller dogs are susceptible to trachea collapse with things around their neck. also collars are dangerous if dog isn't supervised.

she’s so cute! be sure to get some ramps for the bed and couch to help support her back/help train her not to jump! a lot of dachshunds can have back problems so the ramps can be of good use (i’ve also heard people like to introduce joint and bone supplements into their food to keep their backs healthy if that’s something you’d be interested in)
