Stepping on the scales every day for a week to show you how much it fluctuates! I very rarely weigh myself but Harvey needed some scales in mine so thought I’d take advantage and show you all my different weight each day this week! Scale weight is an indicator of what is going on with reaching your fitness goals. IMO it should not be used on its own, it should be paired with progress pictures and how you’re feeling in yourself (how clothes are fitting etc) As a woman it can fluctuate so much due to our cycles and lots of other things can impact it: sleep, what you trained the day before, water intake, what you’ve eaten, alcohol etc! So please don’t worry if it’s slightly up and down throughout the week/month. For reference I am due on my period and eating around maintenance calories 🩸🥦 My scale weight used to really bother me and I wanted to be as light as possible. Now I’m fuming if I go below 70kg because I want to maintain my muscle 🤣 I only track scale weight with a handful of clients who want to do so. The majority of my clients and I go off their progress pictures as our main indicator of progress. I know the scales can get to your head but actually using them can sometimes help to become objective towards them.
