been taught by my grandfather if buying land buy land in back, both sides of the original land for this particular reason. its so worth it. nice job

No! If you can do it. Plus land conservation is important. People are so quick to build. You can do things with it to promote pollinators, bird migration etc. and possibly even get tax credits depending on what state you’re in. Make a trail and add it to your list of amenities. All kinds of possibilities that could help you promote the worth of your current house.

smart! My friend's home is on 2 acres. as the owner of the land around him got older he kept selling off 2 acres at a time on both sides and behind my friends home. he bought them and now owns 10 acres to make sure he doesn't have neighbors.
