in reality his coordinators where the problem not franklin. not saying he was a A+ coach but firing a dude that was a play away from going to the natty is just dumb. the more time i think about penn state situation the more it reminds me of when nebraska and texas fired there coaches who did a decent job then fell into complete obscurity

Why should Penn State fans settle for an “ok” season? You should be able to win games based on your team and not the teams you play. If you’re a math teacher that does great with Addition but fails at Algebra are you really a math teacher?

Franklin was the worst coach of all time, top talent and can’t win the big games! Yes he beat the high school teams but the games that matter he was out coached every time, he was trash!

That’s normal. The second video is just the students section and they are only ever completely full for the big games. You literally took whiteout vs 4th quarter of Northwestern. Of course the students section isn’t packed

Firing Franklin was a bad idea, he was popular and brought in big crowds for the school, but the school has different standards now and he couldn’t win at least one national championship. It’s that simple 🤓😎
