5 Things I Don’t Care About as a Fitness Coach of 7 Years: 1. How much I weigh. The scale doesn’t tell me how strong, disciplined, or powerful I really am. I’m 5’10 — I hold weight differently, and honestly, I don’t even own a scale! I know I’m healthy… and thick lol. I love my size and shape as a woman in her 30s. Once I stopped stressing about weight — how big or little something was — that’s when I hit my real body goals and locked in with better nutrition. 2. If I missed a day. Life happens. What matters is that you show up again — not that you were perfect. I used to stress myself out if I had a busy day or was traveling and couldn’t “go to the gym.” Now? I give myself grace. I pivot to stretching, yoga, or a quick home workout. It’s still movement. It still counts. 3. If I’m lifting heavy or light. Form > ego. Always. I care more about doing it right than trying to impress anybody. Listen! I did alllll that crazy lifting and PR chasing back in college. Baby, I’m tired. These days I focus on longevity — so I can still move and groove when I’m 80+. 4. What the internet says is “trending.” Trends don’t build real results. I coach based on experience and education. I’ve never been a trend follower when it comes to training. I do what works for me — and for my clients. I’d rather build real rapport, learn someone’s habits and goals, and help them reach success that actually sticks. 5. If I don’t look like an “Instagram fitness model.” Let’s be honest — IG will have you chasing a false narrative! I’m not here to chase someone else’s image — I’m here to build my healthiest body. I train for strength, balance, and confidence. Whether I’m coaching myself or someone else, I want you to feel good in your own skin. Celebrate your journey and every bit of effort you put in. It matters. 📌 Save this post if you needed the reminder. 🗣 Tag a friend who needs to hear this too. #fitnesscoach #FitToTheT #WomensFitness #trainertips #fyp
