Once when I finished a night shift all I wanted was a Chinese. You don’t understand how sad I was when I remembered I’d finished a night shift shift and it was 9am and no Chinese was open for another 8 hours!!

Steak and chips in the morning, Cereal at night… you don’t want a heavy meal in your guts going into night shift… also aluminum foil and soapy water on the windows to block them out so you can sleep. (soapy water acts like a glue.)

I do two weeks straight of nightshift then usually fly home without any sleep and spend the whole day driving and in the air, legitimately feels like a fever dream

I do 10pm to 9am shifts and get home at 10am and have a big meal. I then sleep till dinner time and have another big meal before going to work. My circadian rhythm is so messed up now 😆
