Everyone saying Frieren would be the TB, but hear me out, Frieren would be Cyrene. Why, because of Time. Both Phainon and Himmel couldn’t be with their respective ones because of Time. Himmel wouldn’t live long enough for Frieren and Frieren, being an elf with little regard for Time would take too much time to realize Himmel’s feelings. And Phainon wouldn’t get to enjoy the company of his childhood friend, Cyrene because of the Eternal Recurrence, which was started by Cyrene with the Authority of Time, which iirc dictated that she had to die over and over to reset the cycle. Now like Frieren, Cyrene is leading the new cycle of heroes to the new dawn, just like Frieren is leading and in some ways raising the next generation of heroes in her world after the previous heroes she traveled with in a past era
