my biggest piece of advice for people who grew up without safe and healthy conflict in their life is to watch sitcoms. these characters do not get along, they fight, they hurt each other's feelings, and then? they fix it. they always come back to love in the end. sitcoms taught me the difference between unsafe and healthy conflict. if anyone else is nervous system feels like it's on fire whenever you disagree with someone, think of sitcoms. 💜
