I agree 1000% I think they're too cheap to pay their servers and they have us paying them through tips instead... restaurants need to pay their employees and we pay for what we order. Simple.

That’s the restaurant‘a fault—not the customer. I now tip in cash because waitstaff have to pay taxes on tips with credit cards and they may not get 100% of the tip.
