@maxmakesmusic11: Time to share with you one of the coolest song intros that you perhaps haven't even heard yet! :D The song is called Ralphie and it's one of my absolute favorites by @postanimalmusic . I have a major soft spot in my heart for that intro especially! It's one of the standout moments of the song and as such definitely one of my favorite parts of the track! The harmonies kinda remind of the Allman Brothers in a way, like a high adrenaline version of Jessica perhaps. I mainly focused on Javi's part, as that's the more prominent of the two but since I couldn't leave Matt's part out, I included it in the upper half every now and again! Gearwise, we're pretty much back with the same rig I used for my last Post Animal cover: Paul Reed Smith SE Tremonti Custom, paired with the Solodallas SVDS Boost and the Engl Artist Edition. One difference though is the addition of the fantastic compressor that is the Phi v2 by Crazy Tube Circuits! I have it set pretty subtle (low ratio, medium attack, fast release and only blended in the compressed signal a little under 50%), but it's incredible how you can still feel its magic while playing! Haven't really been able to put the guitar down since the Phi found it's way onto my pedalboard🥳 All in all I'm really happy with how this cover turned out, hope you all enjoy it as well!
