They didn’t even try it’s pretty obvious they didn’t think about it or they were to concerned with not copying fan designs because Nintendo is notoriously stingy and probably had no intention of paying artists outside their company. If you look at most of the new Mega’s it legitimately looks like they tried for 2-3 of them and spent 10mins on the others

I honestly think I'm done with Pokémon. between the half assed designs, the ps2 level graphics and the HUGE price tag to make the new game half way playable. I'm just over it. I'm going to get the digimon game that just came out.

Everyone defending it by saying “joke megas have always existed” yes but on already silly Pokemon. Slowbro was always a trolly Pokemon, Feraligatr is a apex predator. Every other starters mega has focused on making them “cooler” but Feraligatr just got butchered.
