The ONLY annoying thing is them wanting to be in their regular spaces, which is in our laps/arms, but we have a baby now so it’s like “get tf down!” “Get tf out of the way!” When they’re literally just doing what they’ve always done. I have so much guilt. 😩

I was so upset when people said “you’ll hate your dog” and in the beginning I was like no way but here at 6m in there are moments where I have to catch myself and remind myself how much I love my dog bc he drives me nuts!

ya know... mine is so unbothered by our 3 pups, and they do so well at giving space for big dogs (German shepherd, chocolate lab, and dalmatian). though our dalmatian definitely gets way too excited sniffing baby boy and needs a calm down break in his crate

Our dogs have a special skill to wake up from a dead sleep, locate the sleeping baby anywhere in the house then shake their heads right next to him and jingle their collars SO loud. Instant wake up. Every time

The hair is what gets me. No matter what I do, there is always hair and it drives me absolutely insane. It was the same with my first baby and got better after the year mark, but my second baby is 6m and I am currently losing my mind over the hair 😅

My dog will choose to do a lil walk around his crate at 2:30am followed by a full body shake and I always tense up in fear that our 3 week old will react

And this is why when we had our baby we sent our dogs to my parents farm where they ran for two weeks with farm animals so for when we miss them when they came back and then they were so tired the next week which helped the transition of dogs and baby
