Please don’t let them wait I just went through hell the past week. I woke up in the middle of night with the worst pain in the side of my stomach that I could not walk or stand up. I went to the er and they did a CT scan and found a watermelon sized cyst on my ovary that I had no idea was there. They gave me pain medication and sent me home. The next day I was worse, could not get comfortable could not sit or lay down without tremendous pressure. They had to transfer me for emergency surgery because that cyst had ruptured and was bleeding out into my abdomen. It turns out the tumor is a very rare one called granulosa cell that originates from the inside of an ovary. I am now only 2 days post op and have to wait to see if the cancer spread anywhere else when it ruptured.

Go to a different hospital… had a huge cyst and it caused torsion quickly out of nowhere and had emergency surgery. Do not let them dismiss you.

That so scary! I was in the hospital a month ago for ride abdominal pain…. But after a bunch of tests they couldn’t find out what was wrong with me!

Go to a different hospital!!! I have bilateral dermoid cysts rn, literally the size of a blueberry (not painful, accidental finding), and my OB was like "yeah we can take these out of it you want"

Babe they found one of a similar size on my annual pelvic, only symptom I had was severe lower back/hip pain, they had me scheduled to get it removed at a later date so don't know why they were not having that conversation with you, but they also sent me home in the meantime with nothing and just told me to be careful. Doctor literally told me I better not be clumsy because if I tripped and fell on the stairs it could rupture and I'd need emergency surgery

I just had an ovarian cyst rupture 2 weeks ago and I’m still in severe pain 🥺 my lower back is KILLING me, my abdomen hurts, I keep having to pee, out of breath easily and so fatigued, I have no appetite and I’m always nauseous and so bloated
