@britbratk: manipulation is manipulation even if it’s in a skirt! i think sometimes we’re quick to point a finger but we also have to realize that our bodies cannot be given in exchange for anything. not even safety or love. when you are going into sexual relationships looking to be taken seriously because you’ve given your body, you’re already doing the wrong thing. i think we should limit the fear mongering and instead bring about educating this younger generation of women. it shouldn’t be don’t do it, we should be educating them on how to do it SAFELY. let’s break these cycles of shame around sexual freedom, liberation, and exploration. it doesn’t end at a man’s pleasure.
