As a travel agent and someone that LOVES her vacations I can't imagine a life without vacation-BUT you articulated very well. For me the part of life that makes ne really happy is my kids, vacation, helping people, connecting with people. And I feel like I hit all the things and am happy :)

That is a GREAT answer... you live a life that you don't need a vacation from 💜 THAT is the dream. I can relate to that being the goal... back when I was masking and doing the "Neurotypical" grind I thought a vacation looked like what's advertised... and I paid a lot for luxury.. only to feel guilty for still being depressed in a place others dream to see. The last vacation I took, I realized at the end it's more about your state of mind than the location... AND it's really important for me to be in a place that doesn't have cell reception/wifi 😌

I grew up poor and stayed poor. But for instance with my kids it was the cheap or free things that was better then going to a crowded beach and spending vacation prices in things. My favorite is camping. I stayed at eagle rock in pa for free for a week because we met the owner. A vacation to me is spending time with mother earth and thinking of my ancestors as I make my fire and cook my food. Sleeping with her and grounding myself. it was something i enjoyed about the military. Any big vacation I went on was because I was a guest. I still prefer camping. Living where I do right now I can go right outside my door and have that feeling because there's more mountains and woods then neighbors here. I think instead of thinking of vacations. People should focus on making there home give them that feeling. Setting up an area or the entire home to give you that. 🖤

We don't feel free so we need to get away from it all and feel free. Some of us also just really want to see the world before capitalism homogenizes all of them. Old Beijing>New Keep enjoying life

I've been wondering - were you able to make some money with the blind dates with books? money things are so terrible. the job market is just ass shit right now in Germany. I have to take a job I'm not sure about, but at least I know my way around there already.
