Yup I used this at work when i was being mistreated and said i carried it about because i had poor memory due to depression, everyone suddenly started being nice to me because they were being recorded 😭

as a first nations woman i'm never believed, bold outright lies about me have been told by wyt people, and even when cctv would be in my favour, it's not used bcuz i'm just a first nations woman with cptsd who is barely human. i try to record when possible, but even that doesn't help me. *cptsd is a neurodivergency, not an illness

Isn’t it illegal to record people without their expressed consent? Therefore, if something were to happen, they can discard recordings as evidence. I know. It’s certainly the law in the UK. That’s why Apple phones and Teams announce calls or meetings are being recorded to everyone

In every state of Australia it’s illegal to record a conversation that you’re part of without the consent of the other parties except to protect your lawful interests. And lawful interests is very narrowly defined.

One day i was in an appointment with a doctor and i had to audio record it because i have adhd so my memory is bad and i had to show the doctor something on my phone so i gave it to him and without telling me he just stopped the recording.

if you say that youre recording in switzerland they will just say you should go somewhere elae than and refuse to treat you. also if you ask for things in writing theyre like i cant do that for every patient go see a different doctor then buy

I gave up, but I think I am going to try this. I Been my own doctor for so long because of being dismissed all the time and now it is more to do with where I am located. you have to go 2-4 hours on public bus outside of the city core to find a family doctor. because everywhere else is paid medical places and I refused to use them because we have healthcare, but they are pushing us to paid healthcare. Appreciate this tip. 🫶

I did this when I was in grade 7 and had 3 administrators team up on me and eventually convinced my parents to delete the recordings and they “forgave” me for the breach of privacy…. Even child me knew I had fucjing got them
