@iamjlace1: I’m living beyond the clinical definition of type 2 diabetes remission. By definition, remission means keeping an A1C below 6.5 for 3+ months without medication. But what if your A1C has been in the non diabetic range for years no meds, no spikes, no complications, no restrictions? That’s not remission. That’s functional recovery or what I believe should be a new category called “Functionally Cured.” I reversed my type 2 diabetes by rebuilding my metabolism through strength training, fat loss, gut health, sleep and stress control. Bro diabetic and nondiabetics should not be eating cookies, cakes, and candy. Simple carbs are unhealthy for diabetic and non diabetics.
