People don’t understand yea he fought the weakest upper moon but that doesn’t mean they are weak they are UPPER moons for a reason and after he got injured and poisoned he got back up and was still going toe to toe with him after losing a eye and a hand and having to slow down his heart and blood flow to fight and not die by poison

i honestly hate how people will downplay tengen like they werent fighting two demons that had a life link and the best win con in the series, like obviously its going to be difficult bc they didnt even have prior knowledge on gyutaro and daki, and he was poisoned from the start of the fight so obviously hes going to slow down and get weaker, but literally after he stopped his heart, he was contending with him by himself literally hard countering with mst, one hand, one eye, continuously accumulating more wounds in the process, and still capable of creating an opening for tanjiro and clutched the fight, even after that he survived a point blank self destruct explosion that leveled the entire district and was somehow still alive
