You need to eat turmeric that is a spice just helps with my pain. I don’t know about your pain, but I know it doesn’t help like magic but it does help gradually and you need bone broth soup that’s supposed to help with the healing help for my brother-in-law it helped me. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Occipital fractures causes lack of muscle movement in the cheek which it looked like he had in the first post. His lips droop on the side of the fracture. The doctors should have noticed that right away.

I've had those same fractures and surgery on mine 14 years ago. I have a small scar in the corner of my eye for the orbital bone surgery. the maxillary sinus fracture was the worst recovery wise and long term effects. DO NOT BLOW HIS NOSE OR USE STRAWS TO DRINK. Recovery took a good 3 months before I felt normal again. I have long term sinus effects from mine. I'm prone to sinus infections and my face swells when they happen. also when big weather fronts come thru, I get bad headaches until they pass.
