Stu and Billy were both at Casey's house in the beginning of Scream, that's why the question to Casey "which door am I at?" was a trick question bc they were each at a different door. Then, like Billy visiting Sydney, Stu went to Tatum for an alibi.

Billy killing Casey just makes more sense BECAUSE Stu had a history with her. He would have been on the suspect list if he didn’t have a solid alibi.

Kevin Williamson confirmed that Stu was the one who got Casey though. As for the principal, he was h*ng on the goalpost.. Billy couldn't have done that alone, just like Casey being on the tree. I think it's more likely they both participated in most of the killings.

stu killed Tatum 1. ghostface comes in thru the house 2. stu leaves the party to "go to the restroom" he isn't greeting people 3. ghostface leaves by going inside so that means that if it was billy he'd have had to go inside get changed then exit the house some other way to come to the front door no! it was stu who killed Tatum then went back in changed and then we see him answer the door.

They're both at Casey's though, both are on the phone call. You can hear the difference in their responses and they even answer each other at one point in the call. There's also a difference in the way they kill, Billy draws it out (choking both Sidney and Casey), Stu is messier (Kenny and Steve)

I always thought of it as Stu was the one who did the talking as ghost face and billy did the killing (or atleast all the fatal stabbings) and it was most of the time billy and was only stu if absolutely necessary to cover up FOR billy, as what seems to be implied at the end when he reveals hes part of it by saying "surprise Sydney," and the reason he would do the phone calls is so that he can mess around without killing, and the fact that if described to the police, they couldnt match the voice with billy since it didn't match the description, and stu would just be a cover up for billy when needed, like to give billy an alibi to say "I wasnt there" whenever it IS stu under the mask, but also to get away with the murders when it's billy under the mask
