The woman is a reporter for LindellTV, the website and channel owned by conspiracy theorist and Trump supporter Mike Lindell. “Shut up,” Pelosi, a California Democrat, said as she turned and pointed a finger. “I did not refuse the National Guard. The president [Trump] didn’t send it.” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reposted the exchange, which focused on a claim that was spread by Republicans in the months after the 2021 Capitol riot. Footage released last year of Pelosi on Jan. 7, 2021, shows her questioning the security planning for Jan. 6, including asking why the National Guard had not been called to respond to the attack earlier.
