Please stop calling reactions to abuse "reactive abuse". It is always defense and defense only. It is not abuse. Survivors are not abusing anyone. That term levels us with the person who has abused and injured us. It causes triggering and is very demeaning to survivors with trauma and CPTSD. Same with "co-parenting" both are buzz words made up by the system. Stop using them. Especially if you want to help us.

My abuser’s narcissist mother called an “intervention” for my “crazy behaviour” (after I told her that her son was abusing me) and she invited my dad and got him to side with her. Like she nearly convinced him to have me sectioned. My ex was locking me in my room, starving me, and regularly graping me. I only got rid of him when he left the house one day and I had friends come straight over to change the locks.
