I think I cracked the code.. I deleted my social media and focused on reading, home making, and my family. People often ask me how I can go so long without having Instagram and Facebook to share with others. We'll, the truth is.. I deleted my social media for a year after graduating high school. I quickly realized that people only look for you when they need something from you. You could buy a car, a house, got accepted for school, etc. In reality, people only care about themselves. If they truly care about you they will make the effort to look for you. We aren't here to be everyone's cheerleader. We all have internal healing to do. I honestly have reacived more clarity in my life by reading my Bible than I have from venting to people. Support is amazing! Don't get me wrong, but we cannot be codependent on anyone for our happiness. The comments and likes seem like validation for ourselves now and days.
