However, the individual later exposed Omokri and the current government under Tinubu. It is alleged that before the 2015 elections, foreign Islamic fighters were invited into Nigeria to destabilise the Jonathan administration. These armed groups have since become uncontrollable, and their violence has escalated beyond anyone’s expectations. Attempts to pay them to reach peace deals have failed. The ongoing killings of Christians appear systematic and organised. Many believe that extremist Fulani groups are being protected by elements within the government, while propagandists like Omokri are used to downplay the severity of the situation.

Shell is still interested in Gas exploitation. They are divesting mostly from Onshore assets because of vandalization and their inability to manage the pipelines. Thankfully the indigenous independents are doing a fantastic job in that area now
